We may use and share your health information to bill and obtain payment from health plans or other entities. For example, we may provide information to your insurer to process claims for hearing-related services or devices.
We may use and share your health information to run our practice, improve your care, manage services, conduct quality review, train staff, maintain records, and contact you when necessary.
We may share health information for certain public health and safety purposes, such as preventing disease, reporting adverse events, reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or domestic violence where required or permitted by law, and preventing or reducing a serious threat to health or safety.
We may use or share your information for health research when allowed by law.
We will share information about you if state or federal law requires it, including with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services if it wants to determine our compliance with federal privacy law.
